Project Coordinator/ Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a 6 month temporary Project Engineer to join our team! You will be working on-site at a Commercial Construction project overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and claims.

Please note: our client is ONLY interested in those candidates who have the following prior experience

  • Project Administrator Position with a large GC shop
  • Experience with construction projects of $20M+
  • Claims / Claims Binder experience with those projects

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Handle claims
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
