Immigration Attorney

Our client is seeking a Immigration Attorney to join our their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal counsel and representation to clients in various immigration matters. As an Immigration Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases, contribute to the success of our clients, and grow within a collaborative and supportive legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Representation:
    • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in immigration matters, including but not limited to family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum, and deportation defense.
  • Case Management:
    • Manage a diverse caseload and ensure the timely and effective handling of cases.
    • Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and file applications with government agencies.
  • Client Communication:
    • Communicate with clients to understand their immigration goals and keep them informed about the progress of their cases.
    • Provide clear and concise explanations of legal options and potential outcomes.
  • Legal Compliance:
    • Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and policies.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in each case.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to achieve efficient case management.
    • Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm on complex cases and legal strategies.

Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the bar in California.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing immigration law. (if not, candidate must have an interest in learning more and the comp range would reflect the knowledge/experience)
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and procedures.
    • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Notes: for the right fit, this person will be on a track to be a partner. The team is 6 people in the office and the remote office has 20 (this role will be full time in the Diamond Bar, CA office). This role is local 5 days in the office, with the potential of 2 days remote in the month. Candidate must speak Spanish. Immigration experience is ideal, but if candidate does not have immigration experience the candidate would need to be willing to learn. This company does not yet have insurance benefits but will have it in Q1 of 2025/same with the 401k benefit. For the right candidate, a sign-on bonus is available (will be paid out after 1st year at agency).

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Diamond Bar, CA 91765: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person (open to doing 2 days remote for the month)
