About Our Client
Our client is a rapidly growing organization with a strong portfolio of multi-use sports and recreation facilities, entertainment venues, and commercial mixed-use development projects under management. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Administrator (PA) to join their team, supporting project management and owner’s representation efforts.
Position Overview
As a Construction Project Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating construction initiatives, including multi-use sports facilities, entertainment venues, and commercial mixed-use developments. Your primary focus will be ensuring that projects are highly organized, stay on schedule, and remain within budget. This role requires a strong background in the construction industry, with the ability to manage projects efficiently from preconstruction through close-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Construction Manager and VP of Project Management in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects across the country.
- Manage project management software and databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the contractor, vendor, consultant, and architect selection process, ensuring adherence to project goals.
- Collaborate in defining project scope, preliminary budgets, and schedules for new developments.
- Facilitate timely and accurate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the point of contact with owners, clients, architects, contractors, and vendors.
- Oversee project schedules, compliance, quality, and punch lists to ensure timely closure of all items.
- Review change orders and invoices for accuracy before submitting them for payment approval.
Additional Duties
- Coordinate construction processes, assessing project scope through review of surveys and deal documents.
- Source and procure fixtures, millwork, supplies, and signage as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve design and construction objectives.
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors, consultants, architects, and suppliers.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of critical project documents in project management systems.
- Utilize best practices to ensure project integrity and efficiency.
- Partner with general contractors, architects, and stakeholders to deliver construction aligned with approved designs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with project management software like Procore; familiarity with Northspyre is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience.
- Additional performance-based bonuses of up to 15% of base salary.
